We are excited to welcome Dr. Monty Salanoa, Family Practice Physician, to the Columbia Basin Hospital Family Medicine Clinic.
“Talofa! My name is Monty Salanoa. I was born in Kahuku, Hawaii, but grew up in Rialto, California. I met my wife in college, where I attended USAFA and received my degree in biology. I went on to attend medical school at Creighton University.
My wife and I have five children, all boys. Our oldest is married and expecting their first child, three are in college, and our youngest is in high school. We also have an amazing beagle named Maggie who loves food and is driven by her nose.
My hobbies include lifting weights, biking, hiking, exploring new places, and playing sports such as basketball, volleyball, and softball.
As a Family Physician, I am interested in finding ways to build a relationship of trust and to improve health outcomes with every patient I have the privilege of working with.”
